This literally helped me out so much because I was struggling to see the exact reasoning behind the Q formula for Tukey. Thank you so much for uploading this!!
item responses are oridinal scale, not interval/ratio scale, but how can you use them for EFA?
Greetings In case of dummy variables are used as control variable if they come out to be significant what does it mean?
You literally just read the results, didnt explained even a thing. Wasted my 10 minutes.
She uses the critical values table for Mann-Whitney U. U can find it on Google :)
Can I ask Ma’am, if the three samples have the same number as the Baseline is 8, Month 1 is 8, and Month 2 is 8, how should it properly rank?
thank you so much
Hey, thanks a lot for the video! But one question, sometimes I don't have an interaction effect between two factors from the table Tests of Between Subjects Effects. But when I run the tests for simple effects as you showed in this video. The results of the estimated marginal means show that the p-value between some factors is smaller than 0.05 nevertheless. Could you tell me why? Thanks in advance!
it gives me this error message "Text: score Command: UNIANOVA An undefined variable name, or a scratch or system variable was specified in a variable list which accepts only standard variables. Check spelling and verify the existence of this variable. Execution of this command stops.". It seems not to recognize score command, any suggestion to fix it?
Make sure variable names in the syntax are matched with those in the data file.
I was also struggling with the syntax, when I found out that "score" in the "UNIANOVA score BY gender major" is the name of the dependent variable.
very good thank you , please add linkfor table if we want to use the table values
such a great video! thanks so much!!
This was a fantastic superb explanation , thank you so much prof.
What is bias? What represents?
Can you record this same video but use a Bonferroni post host Analysis instead of Tu-key?
Thank you Professor! I would be grateful if you give an answer to my question! If I reverse the direction of the path in nested model, will be the model non-nested?
Thanks for the video, really useful!
Hi, is it possible to use a dichotomous variable as a covariate, or does it have to be continuous? I'm working with test scores, and I'm assigning subjects into groups of alcohol use (high/low). If the covariate has to be continuous, can I use the raw total test scores as a continuous covariate?
p̴r̴o̴m̴o̴s̴m̴ ?
thank u
Thank you for sharing your explanation with us. Everything before 2:53 was very clear. I thought the example mentioned is going to make it even more understandable but was sadly not the case here. I am so confused by what the table has to say. What is each of the number tying to say and how is it related with one another? the further I listened into it, the confusion spirals.
Thank you u just saved my life HNY
Thank you. This is very help to me.
THank you!!
Really helpful video, thank you!
Cheers
Please explain the fields in which you enter the different variables. What is a covariate? What is a fixed factor? This is the thing that confuses students the most. The understanding of the input is as important as the interpretation of the output. Every video focuses on the output but never explain on what basis they entered the inputs. A lengthy detailed video, but doesn't explain the most needed concepts.
This just helped me so much with my dissertation, thank youuuu!!
Thank you for such an informative session. A great learning indeed ...
Thank you
can you please post your dataset here so as to practice what you taught here,,,thank you so much
Hello Dr. Xu, thank you for sharing this video! I learned a lot from this. I have a question on why some of the BY statements under Model LoEd and HiEd have been removed after adding WITH statements suggested from modification indices. Does the suggestions from modification indices assume equality constraints on factors loadings?
I think that it is rather a mixed-model ANCOVA, because you have a diet as a qualitative variable. Pure repeated-measures ANCOVA implies only quantitative dependent variables and quantitative covariates.
Qualitative variable? What do you mean? SPSS is to run quantitative tests. Statistical tests are quantitative. All of those variables as long as they are in the program are quantitative. That's not what mixed models do. It's repeated measures ANCOVA as she says.
OMG. You are the best. Thankssssss
How to write the analysis ?
I am here to testify how great man called Dr BALI helped me out with herbs and roots which he prepared for me in use of curing my herpes . I takes his product (cure) for (14) days before I am to known I was totally cure out of it, and i promised him that i will testify my healing to the whole world about how he cured me which I am very happy I am doing now , Dr BALI also cure all kinds of diseases , HEPATITIS, A,B,C , CANCER, DIABETICS , FRIBLOD,ALL KINDS OF SPELL CAST ,and so much more , please you can get him contacted on his whatsapp or call on +2348120933032 or email drbalihome@gmail.com He can also cure following virus(1)..Herpes(2).Cancer(3).Hepatitis(4)..Hiv./aids(5).Pcos(6).Fibroid doctor website drbalisolutioncenter.jimdofree.com

Thank you very much for your video. Kindly provide add the table in the video or comments box. Thanking you in advance.
Quite interesting! I ran a 4 X 2 X 5 three-way factorial ANOVA to explore any viable variance in EI (Emotional intelligence) across the participants' age, gender, and YTEx (years of teaching experience), and found out that the main effects were not significant, whereas the three-way interaction was. I followed up on this finding using simple effects tests through modifying SPSS syntax as recommended by many researchers, including IBM's website. The Simple effects tests' outcome in SPSS seems to be complex, and I found myself overwhelmed with many tables, not knowing what to report exactly! I would immensely be grateful if you could help me sort this out.
Hello, thank you very much for the info. But for next time, please, pleeeeasee talk faster. Thanks
Would appreciate your advice - If I have a sample of athletes, say basketball players, and I want to assess the change in a physical measure such as jump height over the course of a tournament, say 8 games, but I want to include individuals playing time on the court, what would the most appropriate statistical test be? As it is not a baseline value would an ANCOVA still be appropriate or is there a way to normalise the jump height scores to account for playing time in each game?Thank you
The covariate does not have to be a baseline value, as long as you have a theoretical justification for using it to reduce the amount unexplained variance in the dependent variable.
Beautiful video, thank you
Thank you for this video! This has really cleared things up!
It was not explained comprehensively..
thanks for your valuable info
Thank you this was very helpful!
Thanks for the nice explanation, but you dropped the most important point, what is the table 3.4?? or where can we find the table?
This just saved my ass <3
Dear Professor, would it not be better to use Bonferroni instead of LSD (considering multiple pairwise comparisons)? Thanks so much for your video.
